Passive Mobs
Peaceful creatures that never attack players. Many can be farmed for resources.

10 HPWanders aimlessly, avoids cliffs and water. Can be milked with a bucket. Follows players holding wheat.

Sheep
8 HPWanders aimlessly, eats grass blocks to regrow wool. Can be sheared for 1-3 wool without killing.

Pig
10 HPWanders aimlessly. Can be saddled and ridden, steered with a Carrot on a Stick. Struck by lightning, transforms into a Zombified Piglin.

Chicken
4 HPWanders aimlessly, flaps wings to fall slowly (no fall damage). Lays an egg every 5-10 minutes.

Horse
15 to 30 HPWanders in herds. Can be tamed, saddled, and fitted with horse armor. Variable stats for speed, jump height, and health (15 to 30 HP).

Donkey
15 to 30 HPSimilar to horses but slower. Can be equipped with a chest for 15 inventory slots. Cannot wear horse armor.

Mule
15 to 30 HPCombines horse and donkey traits. Can carry a chest (15 slots) and be saddled, but cannot wear horse armor.

Rabbit
3 HPHops around, avoids players and predators. Different skin variants depending on biome. Eats carrot crops.

Mooshroom
10 HPActs like a cow. Can be milked with a bowl for Mushroom Stew. Shearing removes mushrooms and converts to a regular cow.

Squid
10 HPSwims aimlessly in water, squirts ink cloud when attacked. Takes suffocation damage on land.

Glow Squid
10 HPSwims aimlessly underwater, emits a glow texture but no actual light. Stops glowing briefly when damaged.

Turtle
30 HPMoves slowly on land, faster in water. Lays eggs on home beach. Baby turtles drop Scute when growing up.

Fox
10 HPNocturnal, sleeps during the day. Can pick up items in its mouth. Attacks chickens, rabbits, cod, salmon, and baby turtles. Trusts players who bred them.

Panda
20 HPEats bamboo and cake. Has 7 personality types: normal, lazy, worried, playful, aggressive, weak, and brown. Aggressive pandas attack when hit.

Ocelot
10 HPShy, runs from players unless approached slowly while holding raw cod or salmon. Creepers and phantoms avoid ocelots.

Parrot
6 HPFlies around, perches on shoulders. Mimics sounds of nearby hostile mobs. Dances when near a playing jukebox.

Bat
6 HPFlies around erratically. Hangs upside down on solid blocks when idle. Completely harmless.

Cod
3 HPSwims in schools. Flops on land and suffocates. Can be picked up with a water bucket.

Salmon
3 HPSwims upstream in rivers. Flops on land and suffocates. Can be picked up with a water bucket.

Tropical Fish
3 HPSwims in schools of the same variant. Flops on land. Can be picked up with a water bucket.

Pufferfish
3 HPInflates when players or mobs approach, dealing poison damage. Three inflation stages: deflated, half-puffed, fully puffed.

Axolotl
14 HPAttacks Drowned, Guardians, Elder Guardians, Squid, and Glow Squid. Plays dead when hurt to regenerate health. Grants Regeneration to players who help them fight.

Frog
10 HPJumps high, eats small Slimes and Magma Cubes (producing Froglights from Magma Cubes). Tongue attack with short range.

Tadpole
6 HPSwims in water. Grows into a frog after about 20 minutes. The biome temperature determines the frog variant.

Camel
32 HPCan carry two players. Has a dash ability. Sits down periodically. Tall enough that most hostile mobs cannot reach riders.

Sniffer
14 HPDigs in dirt, grass, and moss blocks to find ancient Torchflower Seeds and Pitcher Pods.

Armadillo
12 HPRolls into a ball when threatened by sprinting players, undead mobs, or spiders. Periodically drops Armadillo Scutes.

Allay
20 HPCollects and delivers items matching what the player gives it. Likes note blocks and will drop items near them. Dances when near a playing jukebox.

Cat
10 HPStray cats are shy and run from players. Tamed cats follow their owner, sit on command, scare Creepers and Phantoms away, and bring morning gifts.

Snow Golem
4 HPThrows snowballs at hostile mobs (deals knockback but no damage, except to Blazes). Leaves a snow trail where it walks. Takes damage in hot biomes and rain.

Strider
20 HPWalks on lava. Can be saddled and ridden, steered with a Warped Fungus on a Stick. Shivers and turns purple when outside of lava.

Wandering Trader
20 HPOffers random trades for emeralds, selling biome-specific items, flowers, saplings, and other resources. Drinks Invisibility potion at night.

Villager
20 HPWorks a job site block, restocks its trades twice a day, sleeps in a bed at night and runs indoors when a raid starts. A villager that loses its bed or its workstation looks for another one.

Nautilus
15 HPDrifts through open water and follows a player holding fish. A pufferfish tames it, after which it stays with you, and it breeds on the fish in your inventory or straight out of a bucket.

Copper Golem
12 HPPicks items out of one container and drops them into another, which makes it the first mob in the game that sorts a chest for you. It oxidises over time and ends up standing still as a statue until you scrape it back.

Happy Ghast
20 HPFloats in the open air and carries up to four players once it wears a harness, which makes it the flying mount the Overworld never had. A snowball is what it eats and what tempts it.

Skeleton Horse
15 HPStands still until you get close, at which point the trap fires and the riders come off it. The horse itself never attacks, and once the skeletons are dealt with it takes a saddle like any other horse.

Zombie Horse
25 HPNever attacks anything and never burns, and it takes a saddle once you have ridden it enough. It belongs to the zombie family, which is where its rotten flesh comes from.
